MAC ADDRESS CLONE

Enable better network security with Targus’ Media Access Control (MAC) Address Cloning Utility. This utility temporarily replaces the MAC address of the Targus dock’s Ethernet port with that of the client upon dock connection. This supports allowing only clients on the network white list to have access for further authentication.

WI-FI AUTO-SWITCH

Improve network performance with Targus’ Wi-Fi Auto Switch utility. This utility automatically disables the client Wi-Fi when docked to reduce unnecessary Wi-Fi network traffic and polling. The client Wi-Fi is re-enabled when undocking.

AUDIO/VIDEO CONFIGURATION

Targus’ Audio/Video Configuration utility captures and can automatically restore user preferences for desktop icon placement, audio configuration, and many application window’s positions on connected monitors. This allows users to seamlessly transition from docked to undocked and back without having to repeatedly reconfigure their icons or application windows. It also helps with Windows default audio selection.
